We are currently serving the Halifax and surroundings Counties through our partnerships with the Foodbank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and the support of the numerous farmers in the communities surrounding us.
As we continue with our partnerships we are extremely pleased to be able to serve approximately 2000 persons monthly through the TEFAP program as well as our pantry program.
As we prepare to move into our new facility, we look forward to expanding our food bank and pantry programs into the Healthy Eating, Healthy Living program, to assist the community in learning and practicing newer ways healthy cooking and eating.
We welcome new partnerships with farmers and agencies in the community, as our goal is to alleviate hunger in Halifax County, one family at a time.
